Glass Enamel pendant, made by fusing glass over fine silver in a kiln. The silver has been etched with a feather pattern, which is visible through the transparent glass. This technique is known as Basse-taille. This is made with a lovely soft pink, the colour is perhaps very slightly warmer than the pictures show, and has a shiny polished finish, as has the silver. There is counter enamel on the other side.
It comes with a 19 sterling silver chain with a trigger clasp.
The pendant has a slight dome to it, and is one of a kind.
Enamel is quite hard to photograph, as colours change so much according to the light. I have tried to take the images in different light setting so you can see the effect. The exact shade may change according to your monitor settings.
