Glass Enamel made by fusing glass over fine silver in a kiln. The silver has an etched texture, which is visible through the transparent glass. This technique is known as Basse-taille. The colours are shades of purple with yellow contrasting areas. There is counter enamel on the back.

Enamel is quite hard to photograph, as colours change so much according to the light. I have tried to take the images in different light setting so you can see the effect. The exact shade may change according to your monitor settings.
